eCRF instead of a paper CRF
An electronic case report form (eCRF) is the entry form for a subject's data. Forms, visits and logic come together in the builder without a programmer: typed fields, codelists, edit checks, visibility conditions.
A design version is published as a whole
Afterwards — controlled amendments only: changes are versioned, and a running study never changes silently. A form can be tried in preview before publication.
Entry with checks at the moment of saving
Sites enter data into the subject casebook along the visit matrix. Edit checks fire on save; changing an already saved value requires a Reason for Change.
